Karen Tesson
Wildcraft was set up and is run by Karen Tesson. Karen has been a spinner, knitter and small-scale shepherd for a number of years, alongside her current day job as a web applications programmer. She works from home, so is always on hand to deal with any livestock crises, or to scoot off for a day's dyeing when stock gets low. You can read more about Karen's other (non-Wildcraft) work here.
Gerthe Tesson-Spreij
Gerthe is a Dorset-based illustrator and wood-artist. She is the maker of all our wooden products, be they spindles, niddy-noddies or yarn gauges. Gerthe also paints in watercolour and acrylic (some of her illustrations were published in this children's book), and carves lifelike sculptures of woodland folk from whole sections of felled trees.

Marion Dolton
Marion is a musician, music teacher, photographer, keen walker, amateur naturalist and as of March 2010, our new helper at Wildcraft. Once a week, Marion packs Wildcraft orders and helps out with sorting, weighing, labelling and sometimes drumcarding. She is also the brains and hands behind our supply of preserved wild flowers for resin spindles.
Recently, Marion has started to learn to spin. She's a natural spinner, as you can tell from her first ever ball of handspun yarn, pictured below!
